About J Willy

In the fall of 2008 (in the United States) J Willy's Barbeque House was featured on the FOX reality show "Kitchen Nightmares" (view photos.)

J Willy's Barbeque House has been closed for two years now. And even though the restaurant that once served the fabulous ribs that Chef Gordon Ramsay created for us is no longer in operation, the incredible sauce that was meant for those ribs is nonetheless alive. I am hoping that by keeping the sauce available for investment opportunities, someday I will be able to reopen J Willy's in South Bend or elsewhere. Chef Ramsay created some unbelievable recipes, and I believe those delicious items could have kept the doors open had the economy not gone into the tank. It was truly a memorable experience working with FOX and Chef Ramsay for seven days during the filming of our episode. I am happy that the BBC America has decided to rerun our episode since additional viewing could possibly revive the concept.

We are still looking for an interested investor who can help with the distribution of J Willy’s BBQ Sauce on a national and international level. It has been our experience that having a great sauce will not get you on the store shelves, rather, it takes someone with an infrastructure already in place to get your sauce in the pipeline. And we are willing to give up a percentage of ownership and rights to this incredible BBQ sauce if we can find the right person. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested. I will keep this site up and running in hopes of bringing back to life what Chef Ramsay created. Stay tuned for future developments and thanks again for everyone's support during this past year. It was difficult for everyone involved.
